Our story began over 10 years ago, rooted in the values of dedication, hard work, and community service. As we’ve grown, so has our commitment to serving Broomfield and the surrounding areas. We’ve weathered storms (literally and figuratively) alongside our neighbors, and with every project, we’ve woven ourselves into the fabric of this vibrant community.

Managing Member

Ryan

Blue Ribbon Owner Ryan always enjoyed architecture and older, historic buildings, as well as learning about construction. To pay his way through college, Ryan worked hard installing cabinets.He graduated from Regis University with Honors, taking a job in the IT world. Not finding IT rewarding enough, Ryan then moved on to working in restoration (Mold, Fire, Water, and HVAC), and eventually into roofing and remodels. He now holds a Class A Contractor License here in Colorado.

When he’s not working, Ryan loves spending time with his family and being in the mountains. He also collects classic cars and motorcycles, and is currently rebuilding a ‘72 International Harvester. Ryan is a proud member by blood of the Choctaw Nation.

Senior Construction Project Manager

Roman

Roman comes to the Blue Ribbon team with a background working as an Owner, Operator, and Chef in restaurants. He previously owned a retail furniture and home goods store. And Roman has also been the Owner, Manager, and Designer of design-build companies.

With an educational background that includes Parsons School of Design and the University of Colorado Boulder, Roman is an expert in environmental design.

A true Renaissance Man, Roman enjoys all aspects of design, is an artist, and loves to cook. In his free time, you can find Roman entertaining his family and friends, working out, or traveling.

Office Manager

Sarah

Born and raised in Alaska, Sarah joins the Blue Ribbon team with over 15 years of office administration experience. She worked in the Alaska oilfield industry as an administrative Assistant and a Materials & Logistics Coordinator.

When she’s not at work, Sarah loves spending time adventuring outdoors with her family. Some of her favorite activities include splitting wood, and working on vehicles with her husband.

Chairman, Managing Member

Rich

Rich, a native of Osmond, Nebraska, boasts a multifaceted journey marked by academic prowess and military service. A graduate in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, his three-year tenure as a Military Intelligence Agent, including language training and service with the 902nd MI Group, fortified his analytical skills and global perspective. Transitioning to civilian life, he excelled in roles at EDS and Perot Systems, demonstrating leadership and expertise in system engineering and account management for a combined 28 years.

Later, he brought his strategic acumen to Thrivent Financial as Vice President of Policy Administration Systems. Beyond his professional pursuits, Rich finds fulfillment in farming, restoring classic cars, exploring new international destinations, and indulging in the tranquility of sport fishing.
